Topping-up knowledge ownership

How I agree with Leader. Both in word and in spirit.
What he calls 'the internal process of learning ' should unquestionably be the POSIWID of a civilized society's education system. The more developed our internal processes, collectively and individually, the more ludicrous the acceptance of the ownership of knowledge, evinced here by the Meadow's case, becomes. And the more fertile the trust space as a result.
The reality, thanks to the politics of variable top-up fees - the same politics that subscribes entirely to the ownership of knowledge - means that it's not too cynical a view to say that today, the education system's actual POSIWID is merely the securing of future income streams. The trust space is profoundly distorted as a result.
